Bio
Known as lsrweb (you can just pronounce that 'elessar'- iykyk) online and Dani to my friends and family. Like many of Gen Y, I have a silly nostalgia for the internet and tech of my childhood. Both of my parents were software engineers so computers were a staple of my upbringing, and despite the lack of internet supervision at a young age I didn't really get into much trouble in chatrooms or forums. My parents wanted me to follow my dreams as long as I didn't follow in their footsteps, so I have a degree in history and comparative economics, a law diploma, and an LLM. Currently I live in London with my husband and beloved cat but I dream of returning home to New York. When I first started learning HTML, CSS, and Javascript in earnest I was not planning a career switch.
Work experience
I have no relevant employment experience, however, I hope to soon include some freelance work here. You can look at my freelance work by clicking on the internet explorer icon on the home page (or clicking here).

Network iconAll of my beginner projects (you will recognize many of them from freeCodeCamp). I used to be ashamed of my beginner level accomplishments (whether in writing, knitting, sewing, drawing...) and I hated showing my work to others, but now I love seeing my improvements over time when I start learning a new skill.

Audio fileThis was the first project I conceived of very, very early on in my web development journey. I don't know if a site like this already exists and instead of just going to look for a ready-made solution to scratch my itch, I decided to make my own. This is still in progress and I'm looking forward to sharing it with you soon.
